M2G : Key dates
1832 - MM. Grelbin & Jannot establish the Company Grelbin at Triel sur Seine near Paris (France). The Company processes gypsum into plaster around Paris.
1900 - The Company Grelbin specializes into milling, drying, mixing and mechanical handling. 1950 - The Company Grelbin becomes # 1 in France for equipments dedicated to the plaster industry. 1954 - Establishment of Meci Fours France™ (subsidiary of Meci USA™). 1976 - The Company Grelbin is bought by the Ayrault Group located in Parthenay (Deux Sèvres), Central France. 1978 - Establishment of the Company M2G, subsidiary of the Mace Holding. The Automation Dept of Meci™ is bought by Elf, and the Industrial Furnaces Dept by a financial Company based in Paris. 1980 - Mace Holding buys the Grelbin workshop based in Parthenay, and specializes them in the fields of drying, granulating, cooling and milling. 1984 - Mace Holding buys the plaster activity of the Company Grelbin/Grelbex based in Paris 1985 -The activities of Grelbex Paris move to Parthenay 1987 - M2G takes back the thermal treatment activities of the Company Meci. 1989 - M2G buys the activities of the Company Nagat, manufacturer of lab and sampling furnaces. 1992 - M2G invests in the activities of calcination and drying, and applies for an international patent for a gypsum calcination process (FMG Multiplasters™ kiln) 1996 - M2G applies for a second international patent for another gypsum calcination process (FCG Cyclone kiln) 2001 - Implementation of the Quality Insurance 2003 -Test lab development with the pilot kiln FMG Multiplasters ™ 2005 - Installation of the first FCG Cyclone™ kiln 2006 - Launching on the market of a anhydrite grout mixing unit (Anymix™) for the manufacturers of liquid floor leveling compounds.Grelbex becomes Grelbex Gypsum
